Traditional Dryer Cylinders
Traditional dryercylinders are made of cast iron. The cost of cast iron is relatively cheap and the manufacturing process is simple. However, due to process limitations, its accuracy will be relatively poor, If need to achieve same strength, the dryer cylinder's weightis Heavier.
so now there are steel dryercylinders on the market. It has better accuracy, lighter weight and more durable. Although it is a littlehigh in price, but it is still welcomed by many paper mills
