Polyester Flat Yarn Woven Dryer Screen For paper machine
Huatao has launched new woven dryer screen, which is a unique two-tier flat warp weave screen with controlled permeability, recommended for Unirun positions and high speed machines. The higher surface contact area helps to increase the heat transfer with better sheet support thus lowering the energy consumption and has a potential for, higher life.
The woven dryer screen/fabric/canvas presses the paper web against the surface of steam-heated drying cylinders. Therefore the temperature of the paper web increases and water is evaporated into and through a porous dryer screen. Moreover dryer screen/fabric/canvas assist to support the paper sheet to shift from one Cylinder to another cylinder. Dryer screen/fabric/canvas controlled paper web shrinkage.
The selection of dryer screen/fabric/canvas is depending on the various paper machine parameters such as paper grades, dryer cylinders configuration, dryer cylinder temperatures, air balance in the hood etc. Dryer screen/fabric/canvas design and materials are also very important. Dryer screen/fabric/canvas can be classified depending on weaving struction can be devided into woven dryer screen and spiral dryer screen
For a particular paper machine, the permeability, design and materials of the dryer screen/fabric/canvas should be adapted to make sure optimum drying from a drying section. The air permeability of the dryer screen/fabric/canvas has a great impact on the rate of evaporation of water. If the permeability is decreased, then it is reduction in drying capacity of the dryer screen.
