Water Roll Description

The water Roller is the Rubber Roller in the water supply system, similar to the ink roller, its role is to transport water evenly to the printing plate. Water rollers also have the same with water, water transfer and against the plate and so on. At present, the water roller water supply two ways, for continuous water supply, its leaning plate roller is not wrapped in water velvet cover, the water supply by adjusting the speed of the water bucket roller to achieve. The early water supply method is intermittent, its rely on the plate roller wrapped with water velvet cloth sleeve, with water roller swing back and forth water supply, continuous water supply method suitable for high-speed printing, intermittent water supply method has been gradually replaced.

Water Roll Features

1. The water roller is used to transfer water, so it must be hydrophilic and at the same time resistant to water corrosion. And its hardness is usually lower than the ink rollers, generally between HS20~30°, this hardness is easier to get on the water evenly, and also easier to adjust.

2. Offset Printing Machine ink rollers, water rollers traditionally used nitrile rubber, but in the formulation of the rubber material has its own focus. Of course, other materials can be used, as long as they meet the requirements of use.

3. Water roller with water velvet cloth or water velvet sleeve is degreased, with good hydrophilic performance. Water velvet cover has countless capillary pores, its adsorption is very strong, which ensures the water roller hydrophilic and water absorption, and can play a good role in the printing plate wetting.
