Pneumatic Three-Way Ball Valve Introduction:

There are T-type and L-type three-way ball Valves. The L three-way ball valve type can only connect two pipelines that are orthogonal to each other, and cannot maintain the interconnection of the third pipeline at the same time, and only plays a distribution role.

Working Principle:

A. Opening process
1 In the closed position, the ball is tightly pressed against the valve seat by the mechanical pressure of the valve stem.
2 When the handwheel is turned counterclockwise, the stem moves in the opposite direction, and the angular plane at the bottom of the stem causes the ball to disengage from the seat.
3The stem continues to lift and interacts with the guide pins in the stem's spiral groove, causing the ball to begin to rotate frictionlessly.
4 Until it reaches the fully open position, the valve stem lifts to the limit position and the ball rotates to the fully open position.
B. Closing process
1When closing, rotate the handwheel clockwise, the valve stem starts to descend and make the ball leave the valve seat and start to rotate.
2 Continue to rotate the handwheel, the valve stem is embedded in the role of the guide pin in the spiral groove, so that the valve stem and the ball at the same time to rotate 90 °.
3 When the valve is about to close, the ball has rotated 90° without contact with the seat.
4 In the last few revolutions of the handwheel rotation, the angular plane at the bottom of the valve stem mechanically wedges against the compressed sphere, so that it is pressed tightly against the valve seat to achieve a complete seal.
